Inside Sales/Customer Service Support

We are seeking an organized Inside Sales/Customer Service Support person with a can-do attitude to join our very successful Sales/Customer Service team.


The Inside Sales/Customer Service Support position is responsible for the direct interaction with our customers seeking information about our products and services or customers placing orders to make a purchase.

  • Processing phone, fax, or email orders
  • Preparing customer quotes from start to finish
  • Maintain a monthly quote log
  • Registering customer projects with pricing in our PRS system
  • Maintain and update our special pricing libraries
  • Coordinate and claim for credits through the HJO/DuPont credit process
  • Work with the Outside Sales Team on customer needs and closing sales
  • Help develop sales and project pipeline by researching and identifying potential new sales opportunities through ConstructConnect and other lead-generating sources
  • Working closely with the warehouse to ensure accurate shipping information is communicated to customers
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
  • Creating and maintaining a database (ACT!, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client and projects information and contacting them regularly
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers


  • 3 years of previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or related sales experience preferred. Familiarity with building products is highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with customers
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, manage time efficiently, and handle conflicts in the business
  • Must be detail-oriented and well organized
  • Able to work independently yet function as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • CRM/ACT! experience preferred
  • BA/BS degree, Associates degree, or equivalent preferred
