We are seeking an organized Inside Sales/Customer Service Support person with a can-do attitude to join our very successful Sales/Customer Service team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Inside Sales/Customer Service Support position is responsible for the direct interaction with our customers seeking information about our products and services or customers placing orders to make a purchase.
- Processing phone, fax, or email orders
- Preparing customer quotes from start to finish
- Maintain a monthly quote log
- Registering customer projects with pricing in our PRS system
- Maintain and update our special pricing libraries
- Coordinate and claim for credits through the HJO/DuPont credit process
- Work with the Outside Sales Team on customer needs and closing sales
- Help develop sales and project pipeline by researching and identifying potential new sales opportunities through ConstructConnect and other lead-generating sources
- Working closely with the warehouse to ensure accurate shipping information is communicated to customers
- Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
- Creating and maintaining a database (ACT!, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client and projects information and contacting them regularly
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or related sales experience preferred. Familiarity with building products is highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with customers
- Able to multitask, prioritize, manage time efficiently, and handle conflicts in the business
- Must be detail-oriented and well organized
- Able to work independently yet function as part of a team
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- CRM/ACT! experience preferred
- BA/BS degree, Associates degree, or equivalent preferred
