Customer Service Sales Support Specialist
H. J. Oldenkamp, a Michigan based wholesale distributor of cabinetry and countertop surfaces (building products), is looking for an organized Customer Service Sales Support specialist with a can-do attitude to join our successful Customer Service Team.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Customer Service Sales Support Specialist is responsible for the direct interaction with customers seeking information about our products and services or with customers placing orders to make a purchase. The Customer Service activities include supporting our internal Design & Sales Teams by coordinating with key customer accounts and/or territories independently, quoting pricing to customers, providing product and services information, processing orders, following up on orders and shipping dates, working with outside sales associates, setting up new items, and other customer related activities.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
· 2+ years customer service experience (inside/outside sales support experience is ideal)
· Candidate should have basic math skills or analytical skills to process orders
· Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary
· Ability to execute work orders and problem solving for replacement orders or other issues
· Must be highly detail-oriented, well organized, and dependable
· Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
· Able to work independently yet function as part of a team
· Proven work history with excellent attendance
· Proficient in MS Office with emphasis on Excel and Outlook.
BENEFICIAL SKILLS:
· Experience in the Kitchen and Bath industry
· Experience working with residential contractors, remodelers, and designers
· Ability to read floor plans and cabinet nomenclature
· Project management or cabinet installation knowledge
· Familiar with CRM programs
· Familiar with 2020 Design program
· Familiar with Profit 21 program
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
This position is full-time Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm; in office (not remote)
